Submission to the Estrack 40th Anniversary Sound Contest.
Inspired by Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko’s song, I merged its cosmic voice with my own earthly vocals. Ambient sounds sourced from from the scrape of a chair, the clicking of keys on a computer keyboard and other movement around a workstation float around these voices. This is meant to evoke the soundscape of a mission control room, fused with an enigmatic bending of sound waves through space that sing of phenomena of the past, present, and future.
